SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Neighborhood
Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.
SASSA might be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed regarding the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area SRD on a regular basis. The company level made for intervention experiences a large inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to empower the servicing of all customers and improve entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
